Competition Law

We provide contentious, non-contentious, and sectoral competition law advice that supports strategic objectives and is practical in nature. We assist clients across a variety of industry sectors, including consumer goods and services, energy, information technology and media sectors.
Our advise to some of the largest FMCG MNC’s and leading Indian companies on competition law often involves complex economic, technical and practical issues about pricing, bidding, tying, bundling, manufacturing, marketing, agency and distribution agreements, structuring corporate documents and transactions, advertisements and contents, product launch, international business etc.
We also provide assistance on wide range of situations including mergers, joint ventures, abuse of dominant position and anti-competitive agreements which are the key concepts of competition law. Apart from advising analysis of complex economic issues concerning cross border trade such as protection, state run monopoly, predation, abnormal profiteering is conducted.
Our Anti-trust/Competition law practice is headed by Mr. Abhishek H. Khare, an alumnus from University of Oxford, with majors in Competition law. He has also been involved in this area since the Statute was passed by the Indian legislature.
